Raijinkaze
So here's what I had in mind: You find a journal in an old(or newly added by the mod) Dwemer ruin. It details the plans of an aspiring Dwemer scientist to create a machine that could take an enemy's magicka and use it against them. "Being able to make your ammunition whenever you want is surely better than having to carry it all the time right? and what if you exhaust all of your ammunition?" The scientist reasoned in their notes. It shows an image of a small mechanical contraption that could easily fit inside a Centurion. Its purpose? To absorb Magicka from nearby magic users and convert it into Magicka crystals that the automatons can use to further empower its arsenal. The book further details on what parts this machine is comprised of, how it was built, and where it was being built at that time. -It's inside the same ruin. -You find the machine. -It's incomplete. -The quest revolves around you following the journal's instructions to complete the machine. And what you get in the end is a machine that can turn the user's magicka into "Magicka crystals" that function just like soul gems but without the whole soul-trapping thing. The size of the crystal depends on how much magicka your character has. Heck, maybe even show it off to the College of Winterhold to further cement your title as archmage. Or Neloth in Tel Mithryn so that he respects you just a little bit more whenever you visit. Questions I've asked myself and others might too. Q: Why not just use "Charge or fill" or "Magicka Siphon"? A: Charge or Fill doesn't make sense and feels like a cheap cop-out, Magicka Siphon changes the lore of the game entirely instead of adding to it. Q: Why do you want this mod? A: My reasoning for this is that I wanted to play as a morally good character but still use enchantments on my gear and not use soul gems.
