Objects placed on custom decorations item disappear after shipbuilder

I created a custom decorations object, a deck, for my large hab. It uses a vanilla nif. I created a static, put it in a packin, and then put it in the decorations menu. Now, in my ship, I place a deck and a table, both on the floor of my hab. I put an Eggmund both on that table and on my deck. When I leave my ship, go into the shipbuilder, paint my ship and go back in, the Eggmund on the deck has disappeared (back to cargo), the Eggmund on the table stays. 

Can anyone tell me what the dofference is between the table and my deck? Is it in the nif? In the static? I compared both, and cannot find any difference.
