A short .pdf (8 pages) providing what I learned in regard to using RaceMenu and BodySlide. Prticularly with respect to customizing the 'looks' of my PC and follower NPCs. It is indeed possible, and much simpler than I was first led to believe; probably because I didn't understand what was presented in the various tutorials, discussions, and forums. SO, for the sake of other dolts like myself.... let me give back to the community.

Here's how I managed to go cosmetic-surgery on characters, give them tattoos, replace their armors and outfits, and assign individual presets to specific characters besides the body-meshes provided by replacer mods. All without EVER having to resort to Outfit Studio -BodySlide indeed suffices- or -the gods forbid!-  xEdit; step by step, in chapters/sections,  and with pictures, in the simplest language I could muster.
