LevisageDeDior
Hello, I have recently noticed that whenever I'm trying to swap from low poly head to high poly head when creating high elf race character a hole in my head mesh appears. It's also weirdly deformed. Happens on both sides... I can't fix it in any way than changing the head to low poly (which I really don't want to use). • Changing body mesh have not fixed anything • Reinstalling High Poly Heads have not fixed anything either Any suggestions? :< Spoiler Spoiler
LevisageDeDior
I managed to fix it by covering not broken neck in mask in the sculpt window, then exporting just the upper part of the head mesh. However it is a temporary solution and I'd rather not do it every time I decide to play an High Elf. Help would be appraciated!
anjenthedog
You might also try changing your player weight. As I recall there can be some sort of issue with body weight that causes a neck seam (neck hole). Probably other ways to fix it as well, but fwiw, if you run into it again, might try that first to save a little time.
LevisageDeDior
Unfortunately neck seam is a cause of the teribble lightning mods setup I have installed LOL, and it was just a matter of a bad angle because normally it doesn't appear. Weight changes nothing when it comes to the hole in the neck... unfortunately. That was the first thing I've tried since it fixes discoloration after changing to the HPH from NHPH. No idea what causes this because it's happening only on High Elves as far as I've noticed - so you could guess it's a problem with HPH for High Elves, however as I said I reinstalled the mod fresh, and otherwise there would be more people with similar problem. Eh- God help me T_T Thank you for your reply!
Guest deleted80903
There are a couple mods on the nexus that fix some mesh issues with HPH. Search for "high poly head fix" and you can try to see if any of them fix your issue.
LevisageDeDior
I’ve done my research before posting, but I couldn’t find anything related to the deformed necks in High Elves. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a solution to this issue so far.
Guest deleted80903
I will mention that some body replacer mods/skin texture mods will be better than others for the neck seam issue. You might have to change things around until you find something that's less noticeable.
LevisageDeDior
Hi, thank you for your attention, however my setup works just fine. I use HIMBO combined with BnP, and Ruby ENB for shaders <--> ,,Unfortunately neck seam is a cause of the teribble lightning mods setup I have installed LOL", and I had shaders turned off when taking the screenshot. I also used Tempered Skins at the time. Unfortunately neck hole is my only and the biggest problem as I make NPC replacers. I pray for finding a solution soon :')
