request: rules as written Armor Class

in table top if an enemy has for example 17 armor class (AC) and you roll the dice and just roll 17, you hit because it's the armor class of the enemy.

in larian's infinite wisdom, if you "roll" the dice and just hit the armor class number, it counts as miss and it shouldn't be this way.

 

hopefully someone can fix this and make it behave as it should. thanks a lot.
