aSpaghettiMan Posted January 20 Share Posted January 20 (edited) Hello, I want a Diablo II Resurrected mod that will work through D2RMM (the Diablo 2 Resurrected Mod Manager), which when enabled will kill the character if the character heals, bar the level up heal. Some item attributes can result in character death via heal, these item attributes include and may not be limited to: 1. Replenishing life 2. Life leech 3. +X life after each kill 4. +X magic absorb* (absorbs lightning, fire, cold, and pure magic) 5. +Lightning Absorb*, +Fire Absorb*, +Cold Absorb* 6. Lightning Absorb X%*, Fire Absorb X%*, Cold Absorb X%* *This should not be confused with "Magic damage reduced by X" or "Damage reduced by X"; these are reductions, and cannot result in a heal, therefore no death should be caused. Hypothetically, if the character is at full health, the character should be able to wear gear that replenishes and leeches life, as well as +life after kill and absorbs; however, if these items prompt a heal (the player takes damage and then replenishes life, for example), then the character should then be killed. If the player uses a healing potion, rejuvenation potion, well, or healing shrine, when not at full health, the character should be killed. Auras such as Prayer and Redemption should kill the character. Talking to an NPC healer (when not at full health) should kill the character. If the player puts a point into vitality after they're damaged, this would result in a heal and should kill the character; I understand that the character would have had higher health if the player put points into vitality prior to the damage, but from what I understand, the amount of points healed per point of vitality compared to the amount of max hit points gained per point of vitality is not proportionate. Therefore, there was a profitable health gain, a heal, a death. If there are any other ways the a character can heal, please ensure it kills the character* if they are not at full health. * The character heals after leveling, this is the only heal that should not kill the character; However, there should be an option to disable this healing from level up, as well as an option to disable the healing functions rather than kill the player.
