HansGuy
Want to be the top brewery of Tamriel? Want to be an arms merchant? Want to be a make gold shipping ore, ingots and jewels? Business Empire of Tamriel would be a mod where you can progressively build your own empire that produces and delivers your products all over Tamriel*. Let's say I wanted to establish a brewery. After saving enough gold from my adventures I buy Katixas Ciderhouse Restaurant. I can only grown so many apples but have heard that Heljarchen Farms is looking to expand. I travel to them to negotiate a business deal to produce apples for the Ciderhouse. Or, if I have enough gold, I buy the farm outright and dedicate it to exclusively produce apples, but this means I have another business to manage. Now I'm producing a ton of cider and need more places to sell so I travel to the inns and shops of Tamriel to negotiate the selling of my cider. One day a Ciderhouse patron leaves a note for me praising the taste and quality of my cider. They ask that I visit them in Bruma to see about having it stocked at their local inn. Ultimately, this mod would allow you to own a single producer, the entire production line, multiple types of products, buy competitors, establish trade routes all across Tamriel (when possible), buy a carriage company to transport your goods, incorporate The Scarlett - A Buildable Ship mod, provide quests to hunt for rare recipes, blueprints, ingredients or materials, provide periodic quests to investigate issues with your trade routes, produce regional products based on the province you establish a business in, include the secret brewing and distribution of skooma, have difficult negotiations in specific areas, become a rival to the East Empire Company then, finally, when you are established and have too much gold, you could build your own castle as the seat of your empire. As all of that is ambitious, being able to own a mine and a forge then travel to negotiate trade deals is the simplified version of this idea.
