If this is the wrong forum please feel free to point me to the right one.

Sometime I can play the game 3 hours straight - no problems.

Sometimes I play for 1/2 an hour and suddenly BSD (disappears too fast for me to read the problem)

Sometimes I play for 1/2 to 3/4 hours and suddenly my computer CTD's.

I have worked on the 'puter for hours at a stretch outside of the game with no trouble at all thus I am lead to believe it is something in the game.

Version = 1.6.1170.08

Skse version 2.2.6  Both are up to date.

Creation items all downloaded (although I have unticked the map and mod 'forherformeforyou (?) as I have another map and the forme mod doesn't work.

I have verified my Windows installation no problems found.

I have verified my steam and game files - no problems found.

I use MO2

Went to link, checked requirements which stated that a file called 'crashlogger' was required. Went to this and was told that it was obsolete and that I should use 'trainwrecker' instead. Thus I did just that.

Now when I tried to download Crash Logger SSE AE VR - PDB support as instructed I am told it has already been downloaded.

I appreciate your concern regarding Hietanens instruction but given the above conflictions I did the best I coould. At least I got a log file.

@pipelighter1The note in the requirements stated that the original Crash Logger was only entered to give credit to the original authors.  It was not needed.  If you d/l and installed it, remove it completely.  Also, if you did not d/l and install SKSE64, the Address Library will not work.  I don't know why the CL SSE page does not also list that as a requirement.  Once you get SKSE (for your game version - 1.6.1170 is the latest on Steam) and the Address Library installed and working, install the Crash Logger Hietanen linked for you above.  It should work then.

Trainwreck just isn't detailed enough to help in many cases, at least for Hietanen to help.

I see you don't have Engine Fixes installed. This may cause crashes.

Please install the mod Engine Fixes and configure your toml file correctly, and see if it helps against the crashing.

If you still crash with Engine Fixes installed, you may have a  corrupted NPC. What you can do in that case is to delete this form id in Resaver and see if it helps: FF001967. Just search for FF001967 in the blank field in the program and then delete what shows up.
