theauthorty
I mean seriously, every new version, this mod comes out with, doesn't work, everybody has a million different fixes for the problem, none of the fix is actually work, and everyone has a consistently different problem than the other person. Like can we just admit that AAF doesn't work? If it really does work, then why is it that King baba yaga, the maker of the mod won't actually help people if it. He puts out this little list of how to install the mod, yet when he actually look at the list, absolutely no mod ever in the history of modding has ever been installed that way. People don't drag and drop specific files into a spot, and half of the extensions that he mentions in his directions don't even exist. More over if you ask anyone of the AAF community, you'll get probably screamed at, cussed at, and just general belligerent behavior. It's like these people are subhuman or something, they don't have any answers for anything, even if you ask a really specific question. They harass you about your mod list, and then when you give them your mod list, that continue to harass you too. They act like you have s*** missing, and then if you just go and actually look at your mod files, you have a AAF, you have several combat quests that work with it, You have a skeleton, you have an animations, you literally have everything. They just gaslight you into thinking you don't. I'm not going to pretend like the mod even works, I have yet to see actual physical evidence that it does. I have zero evidence whatsoever to even remotely suggest that AAF works, I've seen people talk about trying to get it to work, and I see people give up because in the end they fail and it never does go anywhere. So What now? Well now that we've admitted AAF doesn't work, maybe this can clear the path for somebody who actually wants to make a mod that does. If no one ever does, cool fine whatever, but AAF doesn't work, and if you're a mon author who's building their mods around AAF, save yourself the headache. I don't blame you, for the failings of AAF, I'm sure your effort would be spent better elsewhere, making some kind of other mod for something else entirely, and I as a consumer would probably enjoy whatever it is you make, but don't let these people gaslight you into making an extension for their mod that doesn't even do anything. It just takes up space. Edited January 29 by theauthorty
