sebaothgod
Hi friends! I am using Vortex 1.13.7 and could not figure out a way to Log in. I get the standard Authorisation pop-up, everything works well on the Nexus website, buit nothing seems to come back to the Vortex pop-up to confirm that I am logged in successfully. Tried adding firewall exceptions both inbound and outbound traffic for Vortex, tried disabling the firewall, uninstalling and reinstalling Vortex, flush the dns cache, restart computer, etc. none of this worked. Looking in the diagnostics, I see an error: token req error,Error: connect ETIMEDOUT 64:ff9b::6812:2a36:443 (i see Vortex is using port 443 and I made sure the firewall rules allow any port to be used). Here is a screenshot of the various attempts tp log in. I am a Premium member as well and would like to be able to use your services. In terms of Antivirus, I am using ESET Nod32 and Malwarebytes but did not find any logs stating that any Vortex related connection would have been blocked. Any chance you could support me, please? Thank you.
sebaothgod
The funny bit here is that, if I use the token login option and enter some dummy token, there is a clear error message stated in the pop-up saying Invalid token so definitely Vortex is able to communicate with the Nexus servers and vice-versa...why they don't communicate also when the attempt to log in is successful on the website, it's a different story... ChemBoy1
Your connection is timing out. You are probably being blocked by a Firewall. That could be in one of your AV programs, Windows, or your router.
