xbbrokennx
Hey guys, how u doin? So, recently I tried to use the GTS collection but my fps got so low I almost found oil. My setup is Ryzen 7 3700x with 16GB of RAM and a 4GB rx570. I'm using a lot of gameplay mods that really increase the immersion and fix a lot of the physics in the game, but I really want to improve the graphics as well. That being said, what mods/enb could I install to get better visuals but still have a good fps? Thanks in advance. radiusrsatti
the issue you're likely to have is insufficient video memory... you can get plenty of optimized or upscaled retextures, at the cost of VRAM... 4GB will be insufficient to rescale all of Skyrim to 4k, it will be a very tight bottleneck for processing... I had a 1070 with 8GB and easily capped it out, throttling my fps to 15-30. Pfuscher offers a nice collection, and there are also downscales available for his texture packs, make a selection based on what your system can likely handle... good thing about textures is they are easily replaceable and will not affect game saves. ENBs may heavily affect your performance, depending on pack you get... give the base ENB a dry run to see how it functions before trying an ENB pack, to give you a base impact comparison
