ballbuster800 Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 I’ve searched and this doesn’t seem to exist: a mod that makes all “X hours remaining” etc. consistent with each other. for example, some effects like shrine blessings are based on in game hours and are effected by fast travel and waiting while others use real world time and still other use an amalgamation of the two. I understand this would be difficult, but in the base game at least there should only be about 20 of these. This mod could work in multiple ways: giving an option for which time system you want to use (in game time, real time, hybrid), different files, or simply choosing one to be the ultimate choice. Having a mod like this, while minor, I believe would significantly enhance gameplay. If this turns out to be infeasible a solid alternative would be a mod that simply specifies which time system it uses for clarity. I know this was a long one, but i’ve really looked for this and it would make the game feel more smooth. -also i’m brand new to the forum so if i did anything wrong i apologize. This is definitely an interesting idea, and I can see how it would make gameplay feel more cohesive. There are likely around 20-30 effects in the base game that would need adjustment, but the real challenge would be finding all of them and ensuring they behave consistently across fast travel, waiting, sleeping, and real-time gameplay. A mod like this could work in a few ways: Standardizing all effects to use only one time system (e.g., all effects use in-game time). Providing options (in-game time, real time, or a hybrid). Adding clarity—even if changing the system isn’t possible, a mod that labels which effects use which time system would still be useful. It would take some scripting, but in theory, it’s doable.
