starpotionn
Mod request: NPC whistling is silenced/disabled. I have misophonia and the amount of whistling NPCs do in this game makes it borderline unplayable for me. While there was the occasional whistling in 1, it was bearable, but in 2 you can't go anywhere or do anything without hearing it. Especially at the tavern playing dice, or when speaking with an NPC in town, somebody always has to walk right up to your ear and start going off while you're stuck and can't get away I know that whistling is also a feature of interacting with your horse and dog, and seems to be a large part of blacksmithing (which I haven't tried yet, so I don't know much about it.) It's fine if the mod doesn't touch these things, as replacing them would probably require a lot more work. For the NPCs, I imagine just replacing the whistling audio with a silent audio file should work, as that's how I've seen it done in other games. hoarsorrow
+1, I also need this kinda mod badly. I tend to spend much time in taverns and it is unbearable. Out of tune, really bad whistling by almost every npc... I myself tried to make a mod for it, but I couldn't manage to extract .bank files. I know it would be an easy task for someone who actually knows about modding. Thanks guys, God be with you, whoever makes a mod for this.
godlessgeek
+1. I also suffer from misophonia and I’m having to play without sound currently because the whistling is so unbearable. I’m just trying to brew some medicine and somebody is outside walking back-and-forth whistling like there’s no tomorrow.
