I nothiced something in gameplay, now whenever you fight someone, unless you use fists your enemy will always die once their HP drops, thing is, in the first KCD there was a mechanic of "Mercy Kill" if your enemy didnt die from their wounds, and in KCD2 it doesnt exist as all your enemies either die or give up before they die, the game does still have the animations and the mechanic in it

How to get "Mercy Kills" in KCD2? basically fists or stealth non lethal takedown, it will offer you to Slaughter the npc if you hold F, which uses the same animations from Mercy Kills and works pretty much the same

What i ask for: If possible it would be awesome to have a mod where the enemy you fight, even with swords or axes wouldnt die right away and would instead enter a knockout state, that way in case of anything the enemy may get up after a while, and you will be able to do a cool looking "finisher" which was originally in KCD1. Besides it is kinda realistic that not every single enemy may die by you, humans survive big wounds oftentimes and can be just crippled/knocked out from pain

(yes i just want a way to be a sadist and finish my enemies off even after finishing the fight)

I'm surprised they took out the mercy kills for KCD2. Really adds to the realism as mortal wounds I'm sure weren't so uncommon in medieval combat. If the devs don't add it to the game I'd love for this to be a mod ASAP as well.
