KCD Mods No Longer Work

Last time I was able to play was back in Dec 4th 2024. Playing just fine with mods. Then I'm not sure if it was a vortex update, or a computer update, or some combo of both, but now suddenly I am unable to launch the game with any mods actually being active when I had done nothing to any of the files or folders.  I have tried a clean ( as clean as I know how anyways) install of both vortex and KCD.  No luck.  No information I have found yet has either proved relevant, or have worked. I use vortex to manage mods for stardew and they all work just fine. I even tried to mod KCD directly. No luck. tried switching from change the deployment method from symlink to hard but I only have the ability to symlink for some reason (drop down menu only shows sym). I'm just super frustrated and so confused. Please, someone who knows this stuff better help me. I just want to get my QOL mods working again. 

Im on windows 11. KCD is on most current version.
