wwiggy
Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me resolve an error I am getting in Vortex please. I'm trying to move my Skyrim SE over from the old Nexus Mod Manager to Vortex but now my game boots to the loading screen and then sits there loading forever and never starts. I'm not sure if the error I am getting in Vortex is the reason my game is not loading but it seems like a likely place to start. Background: I had everything working in Nexus Mod Manager and then didn't play Skyrim for a few years. Recently I decided to jump back into the game for a little while. I discovered that Nexus wasn't a thing anymore so I watched all of the Vertex video and started to move all of my mods and bring my game into Vortex. Everything seemed to be going well and I was able to fix a few of the issues that came up except one. I can't figure out how to fix the "There was an error getting plugin information from LOOT". If I ignore the error and try to load the game anyway (form Vertex, exe file, SKSE or any way) the game starts up with the splash screen then when it gets to the loading screen it stays there loading forever with the loading icon going round and round forever. I've tried every thing I can think of to include "Verify integrity of game files" on Steam. I'm not sure if the error message is causing the game not loading but I figured I should fix that first and go from there. I'm not sure why LOOT can not find Update.esm when it does show in Profiles. I'm hoping that the file is not corrupt or something. Any assistance or suggestions you might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated! I've got a lot of hours invested in this game to just abandon it. 7531Leonidas
Maybe you should try to look through/search the Vortex Support forum for the error statement that you are getting, or just ask there?
