I'm addressing this to our enthusiast modders that know what they are doing.

I had played for a while this wonderful game and it might be minor thing, but I noticed that "event logger" on the Ui in game is kind of useless and very unnoticeable. Especially compared with the first KoH game where text notifications are very visible and not annoying at the same time. (example in the image bellow) 
For War is red, for Diplomacy is green, for major events like Crusade is bold white, for some made italic, for some even you get a high pitched of short half second "ding" sound (which is very helpful to take notice, but not as much important that it need to be voice-announced by the narrator), and so on.

So, as you may noticed I take example from the older game, and I can say surely that some things done in it like the in-game Ui I like more than in the second latest game. So, if someone would be interested enough to make such minor but useful change that totally changes the immersion, then it would be awesome. 

Would be cool to have even a simulation of the older original event log (if that is possible). Because this was a very good gameplay part of the older game, and also extremely useful without going much into strategic map to check all the time what's going on. I was just always up to date of the diplomatic moves, wars and major events. However now in Sovereign I never check the event log. Ever. And even if I try, I just close it, because I get lost immediately into bunch of text that is hardly readable, and also the box is really covering the actual gameplay. It's better to be closed and never used.

I had searched for any mods that changes significantly some parts of the Ui. I found none.

Though I would appreciate the effort of some modders that can do that or even had the same idea but didn't implement it yet.
Just letting you know as a fan of the first game.)
