hwextreme
I have been using Vortex / Nexus for years, never really had a problem, but on this PC when Nexus is set to Fallout 4, it hangs, when it hang the entire PC hangs, it hangs all running processes, and the only way to recover is to power down and restart the PC, I can open task manager or even close vortex. PC is rock solid stable, not overclocked and no memory errors, or issues with bench marking or stability testing. I have tried removing vortex and any traces of it, and then installed it again, it was working fine with some other games, hogwarts legacy and Fallout4 VR, but as soon as i switch to fallout 4 it hangs. I have deleted fallout4 and re-downloaded it through steam, I have removed and re-installed .net. I just cannot see what is causing the hang. Windows 10 LTSB 21H2 19044.5487 (only 1 month since install) Ryxen 3700x / nvidia 3080 566.03 drivers / amd chipset drivers 5.11.02.217 I have windows subsystem for linux, vmware workstation, tailscale, VC++ 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 1025-2022 (latest versions) The only thing I do have is that Is out of the ordinary is I use Cryptomator to encrypt my "My Documents" folder before uploading to Onedrive, but I have this on another PC and it has not caused a problem. and I cant see any files related to "my Documents" with Vortex anuways. network.log Couldnt upload the vortex log files, so added them here msteletemy/vortex.log at main · hwextreme1/msteletemy msteletemy/vortex1.log at main · hwextreme1/msteletemy
