Tomb Raider Remastered I-III

Hiii, 

A kind request from two softies pet rat lovers who just started to play the games. I know that there are some rats you have to kill in TR I and TR II, which I might stomach but my partner might be really upset about. 

I know that there are some green lizards and snakes in the third game. Would it be possible to move any of those to act instead of rats? If that would be an easy fix and someone could do it for rat loving people like us, we would greatly appreciate.
