ASmellySmew
Alright, so...I've tried Reddit, i've tried Discord...I'm basically close to giving up on starfield until i can get the money to drop on a new PC, at this point. I just want the game to actually work without being forced to go back to playing it in vanilla. I've literally restarted the game like...at least 20 times at this point and i can't get past the beginning few hours, i'm basically playing it as a demo at this point. I'm playing this game on my xbox series X via game pass, I'm bringing this here because I figure most of you know what the hell you're talking about. Everywhere else has given me conflicting information and conflicting load order templates. The game keeps crashing, basically freezing itself, not even a full on CTD. I don't know what's causing it, and I can't figure out what exactly is causing it because I don't have anything like LOOT on Xbox. Hell, I can't even do photo mode because it'll eventually freeze, and right now I can't stay in the Lodge basement without the game eventually freezing. It'll also freeze when I'm in the crafting workbenches, at least the industrial work bench. Here's the load order template I'm using: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WmuMojgCHmYzgFCVAafFA2Mxs43kcwkhN_BgagBXuRk/edit?gid=0#gid=0 Here's my load order: Unofficial starfield Patch Unofficial Shattered space patch Old US Army Pistol - B320 Family Apollo-9 - 9mm Pistol Old World Five dot Seven Pistol Unity Framework Ammo Framework Ship Vendor Framework The Hatch - a horror Quest At Hell's Gate Star Wars Aliens Star wars Droids Star Wars Aliens and Droids Patch Partisans The first Overhaul Standing Stones of Starfield SKK Universal Stash (Unlimited Storage) Wicked Workshop Outpost Projeckt 2 Wicked Workshop Outpost Projeckt Fortified Wicked Workshop Outpost Projeckt Fielded Wicked Workshop Outpost Projeckt Strucktured Better Living Outpost Decor Better Living Shattered Space DLC Edition Bard's Outpost Recruitment Beacon Betamax's functional Decor Better Buildable Walls and doors Volume 1 More Consoles and DJ booth MattGyver's Outpost Production Posters Outpost Water Tower+ Nem's Deco Pack Skully's Emporium Observatory Tower Hab 2 More Lore Accurate bounties Starvival Ultimate Survival Addon Green And Gold Stargym - one more rep Landing Animation Reloaded Shade's Skillpoints for credits or essence Roleplay Backgrounds Make Rosie a real Doctor Enhanced Sarah Pitch Black Nights Iconic Ships Crimson Light + Ships Colonial ship works Ships Plus+ (Updated) M12B FAV (Warthog) ZoNE79 Clothing pack (standalone) Vanilla M4A1 Assault Rifle G36C Redux EiT Clothiers Plus (Vanilla Female Shape) Sith Cult Outfits (Star wars - Varuun Replacer) Boba fett 1313 Star Wars Classic Hero Collection Environmental Seal Halo Spartan Armor Collection (Port) Helmet Armory Star Wars Bounty Hunter Pack Galactic Junk Recycler Space helmets - Dark Visors by Xtudo Clean Reflex Sight Lenses The Book of Boba Fett Armor The Mandalorian
HeyYou
It's probably a conflict, rather than load order issue...... Try turning off the various 'framework' mods, (along with any mods that are dependent on them.) See if the game is any more stable. I *think* I remember reading someone else having potential issues with the unofficial patches as well....... but, I don't recall from where...... Theoretically, they shouldn't be a problem.... AMFB1984
I got you. Discord, Reddit, etc No one has a proper load order template. To be fair, Reddit has prolly the closest thing to something that almost works...but still a fail. I have one that I made from scratch, that will allow up to 110 mods active, with no conflict. On Xbox. The template is as follows: --ESL-flagged, or master files-- --unofficial patches-- --light Master files; small files that will affect the entirety of the game, such as overhauls.-- --quest mods-- --multi-area edits; a single mod that will expand or change the layout of several locations.-- --single area edits-- --player homes-- --outpost items; things placed into outposts, cribs, or ship interiors.-- --ship builder items; mods that overhaul the mechanics of the ship builder in any way, will need to go first in this category-- --ground vehicles; player-owned whips-- --AI modifications; anything that changes NPC behavior. This goes for enemies, followers, crowds, and yes, even ships.-- --Added NPCs; new enemies, followers, or extra crowd.-- --Body mesh replacers-- --Body texture replacers-- --space suit texture replacers-- --NPC apparel texture replacers-- --Environmental texture replacers; water, etc.-- --NPC appearance replacers; anything that changes the way a particular NPC or group of NPCs look.-- --Hair mods-- --Leveled list-loot-- --Leveled list-vendors; anything added to the game, that is bought in a store. Outfits, etc. even if it is also craftable, it goes HERE.-- --cheat mods-- --crafting; items that are only obtainable through crafting.-- --powers-- --The naughty list; script-heavy mods, or mods that don't really play nice with others generally get put down here-- If you follow this template, your game will not crash, at least not from a whack load order. Finally, with a lot of mods, anything over 50, on Xbox, you will need to "bump" the mods, from time to time, when they act up. This is done the following way: 1) Bring up the mod market. 2) Bring up the load order. 3) press the "start" button 4) Select "disable all creations". 5) press the home button. 6) select Starfield, then exit the game. 7) repeat steps 1-4, except you select "enable all creations". repeat steps 5&6 Load up your save game, and everything should behave.
