New UI - Aesthetic feedback

Hey i got back after some time and this new design is so bad i dont find anything. Its was so easy and now all seems like someone who hates simple things wanted to make this site the same as any other s#*! site.

Everything is hidden. I just want to search all the mods but have to spend 30mins to find the right button. Its just bad and unintuitive.

You dont need to copy popular sites if that was the goal here. I hate it.

This is just for feedback.

I guess I should reread my post.  I don't think I mentioned hiring extra staff.  And if it is so absurd why do other websites do it?

Oh, you want them to do extra work without extra staff?  How does that work?

Other websites do it if they have the resources to do it, a strong enough reason to do it and if it is simple enough to manage.  Trying to maintain the old version of the site while completely overhauling the back end of the site would be wasteful.

Since this is an aesthetic feedback thread, I'll focus my reply there.

The old Nexus Forums design was my favorite site visually. I speak from nostalgia when I say that I really miss it. Emerald Moderator names stood bold against the dark background, as did the crimson Admin tag. Lucida Grande was a fantastic and unique font choice with well-spaced lettering. Square avatars are much preferred over these circular ones, which also happen to be a massive image resolution downgrade. Everything was simpler, easier, more efficient, and had a memorable charm.

In addition, it seems that member titles were abolished and after the update my post count was cut in half.

I don't hate the new Forums look. Most of all, I understand why the transition had to be done. The Forums, if I remember correctly, needed a new foundation without cracks and with better support. Regardless, the Forums now, I think, are missing a lot of that charm.
