raziel23x
Okay, I have been downloading a few plugins (about 172 plugins) for Elderscrolls III Morrwinds/Tribunal/BloodMoon. Abunch of them i am not shure of about using them because when i look at the files the ESM's are all caps and my normal plugins only the first letter is caped. What do I do? Do i just load the plugin into my construction set with whave ever ESM's it needs and set it as teh active file and just save it to update it's ESM's to make them playable? or what do I do? And also can anyone point me in the right direction to selecting what plugins or know of a list that can list all plugins and what plugins not to use with what and so forth? Finally, Can anyone point me into the right direction of screen shoots/making them into splash screens?
Sypron
you have three queerys, and i shall try to answer them.1. if it really bothers you about the capslock, go into you morrowind/data files folder and right-click on the caps locked names, click on rename and just retype the mod name in none capitals. in the end it make no difference.2. i don't think i understand what you mean. if you go into a readme file for a mod it will tell you what's not compatible with the mod.3.first take a screen shot, i'm not telling you how to do that, second go into you morrowind folder and copy the screenshot. go in to the morrowind/data files/splash folder and paste the image. open the image with a program, resize to 14.222 inches by 14.222 inches. then rename splash_whateveryouwanthere and save. when you load morrowind it will be there, give it some time to appear hope that helps, sincerely, my fingers hurt now
raziel23x
the cap stuff i am talking about is not the the name being caploed E PLUGIN.espWhat i am talking about when you launch the marrowind.exe and go into Data files the depentecy is in all caps not like it is sappose to be. IEplugin.esp needs Morrowinds.esm TRIBUNAL.esm Bloodmoon.esm (or any veration) when a normal plugin i create is well normal. IEplugin.esp needs Morrowind.esm Tribunal.esm bloodmoon.esm
Malchik
If you want info on types of plug-ins have a look at the pinned threads. I have started one on quest based plug-ins and there are others that deal with enhancements etc. You can also use the search button for other peoples' favourite plug-ins.
