BadAtModd1ng Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Hey all! I haven't been able to play FO4 since the update so recently I decided to take a crack at fixing everything so I can play again. I believe I successfully downgraded my game but I'm having trouble with a couple mods. I had downloaded a post-update version of SS2 in my initial attempt to play on the update, recently I tried to download the older version of SS2 and I was met with the pictured error message upon trying to install (everything done through nexus/MO2). Similar situation with the FO4UP. Is there a workaround for this? Are there any files within the versions of these mods I have installed that can be edited or deleted to make the game playable? I really love the content in SS2 so I'd rather not go without if I don't absolutely have to. Any and all help is appreciated! Also I can post my modlist/load order if need be, thanks in advance!
d4em Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Large mod manager downloads can corrupt (or small mod manager downloads if your internet sucks), if you're downloading a big mod like SS2 it's safer to download manually and then install from archive. The unofficial patch requires the CC content that came with the update, that's why you're getting missing masters for ufo4p. Did you install workshop framework?
subaverage Posted April 1 Posted April 1 You say that you downgraded your game and now you are on pre next-gen, right? Do the versions of WorkshopFramework and the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch match the pre next-gen game version?

I was getting that corrupted download error for ss2 and ufo4p so I'll try installing manually. I do have workshop framework so I'll double check which version I have.

Ufo4p is next-gen but I was getting that corrupted download error when I tried to install the older version; I think workshop framework is pre-update but I'll double check. Thanks a ton!
