Updating Darktide mods using Vortex not actually updating need to remove then redownload

Four of us play the game and the bug happens for the four of us. When you press "check for updates" they show in yellow. If you press reinstall with the latest version. If you check again using "check for update" it shows it still needs to be updated. 

The workaround for now I found is to "remove" and remove archive and redownload and then it actually updates. This works but thought I would let you know. I only use for darktide so cannot say for any other games to test.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. I use the DarkTide Vortex extension as well, and do not see anything like what you are describing.
