I can't tell you from here though because I would have to see your mod files (your project files too perhaps). If you want to send me that stuff so I can have a look, you can do it here or on discord @ museeeeeee. Expand Thanks for your reply. Since my post I tried bringing a game mesh straight through Blender without any modification besides naming (in .psk, out .fbx addons). That mod doesn't crash the game. I think that rules out wrong version of UE (I'm using FModel 4.4.4.0 Blender 4.2.2 PSK addon 8.1.1, and UE 5.4.4). Thanks for the offer to look at my files, but I don't want to waste your time. I must be doing something dumb in Blender when I edit meshes. I'll also be careful with asset referencing in UE. I might have just got lucky the one time. an0nym0uz
Quote InZOI Mappings: Needed to decrypt the .ucas &.utoc files to make the assets viewable. Converted InZOI .pak files: Converted by QuickBMS to be viewable in FModel. an0nym0uz
Feels like some some minor things arent covered, at least some things i actually cant get around of as a beginner in some of these topics (no idea how anyone figured that out by themself): Dunno its probably just me, but i cant find any hair, models or whatever in the vanilla .pak files In what .pak files and folders do i even have to look for that stuff, i'm lost cant even find any characters folders The base models seems to be important, since theyre probably needed to make clothes or hair mods - are they shared somewhere/where to find them in the .pak files? How do we scale them in Blender then? I now already got the models from somebody***, but theyre extremely huge, like 100m height - and i didnt found a way to properly scale them (which is maybe needed to use blender addons as example(hair)) I dont want to spam this guy*** all the time for answers, since he was trying to help already

Sometimes I forget the smaller details. 1. The .pak files are actually empty for the most part besides a few of them but if you're just looking to edit or make clothes, accessories, etc., you don't have ta worry about them. 2. in FModel, you should be looking into the .utoc files cause thats where most of the game's assets are. Like, if you're looking for the body, you would find it in: BlueClient_Content_Characters-Windows.utoc = BlueClient/Content/Characters/AvatarParts/Body Most, if not all, create a zoi content is inside that .utoc in particular (hair, clothes, accessories, etc.). 3. I did include the contest assets here but they only work with Marvelous Designer. They are huge in blender because the difference between the scaling in Unreal and Blender are super different thus the size of the models. Before you export the model from FModel, you can go into your FModel settings > Models and next to Mesh Format, you can change it from AxtorX to UEFormat: Then, you can import it into blender using the UEFormat plugin here. Click the green <>Code button and in the drop-down, click Download Zip and install the addon (keep it in the .zip folder) to your blender as normal. After that, you can import the model to your blender and it'll be a more manageable size and you can do whatever you want with it. Keep in mind that when you're read to export whatever you make, it MUST be scaled up or it won't work properly in game. So, when you're in blender press S (for scale), then, type 100 on your keyboard and finally press enter. Then, apply the scale by pressing ctrl + A to bring up the Apply menu. Click Rotation and Scale and then you're ready to export your creations at that point! I'm here if you need anything else clarified & I'll try my best Edited May 14 by CUUPIDON
an0nym0uz
Thanks a lot, i wasnt looking into any other files than the .pak, that was my mistake I installed the Blender UE format plugin and also changed FModel to export into .uemodel In FModel i was able to export the specific file as .uemodel just fine then In Blender however it still doesnt provide opening the .uemodel, even when the plugin installed correctly (Blender restarted several times as well) I simply dont get it, whats wrong. I was trying it now for around a week, every day, to get into a workflow with all of that stuff for my pers. first Hair Mod, but failed miserably. At least i learned a lot of things on the way, so it wasnt wasted time. But i'll give up at this point, there are too many obstacles that makes no sense to me & several people tried to help me already I already feel dumb to ask about such apparently obvious things everywhere constantly and bother helpful people all the time haha Thanks for all the help & time and effort of you all, creating all of these guides/tools/ressources, i highly appreciate that. Hopefully it will help a lot of people getting into the InZoi modding. I'll now personally just wait, if this is changing with the modkit release. Have a nice day!
