Unmodded version of BG3

I want an unmodded and modded version through of Baldur's Gate 3, modded to play alone and unmodded to play with friends. Any way to do this easily? Haven't been able to find anything that's really straightforward other than uninstalling and reinstalling all my mods to switch between the two

Just Purge mods when you want to play with friends. Purging puts the game back to a vanilla state (assuming you didn't manually install anything outside of Vortex).
