MatSpikeYinsen Posted April 24 Posted April 24 My Tech-Savvy skill is about a 15; I can only use extremely basic console commands, and I have no idea why they go wrong when they do. I need a very basic course of lessons, and I have no idea where I'd look to find something that works for my rather autistic learning style.
JimboUK Posted April 24 Posted April 24 This is a list of commands, clicking on them will show you what they do and how to use them. https://geckwiki.com/index.php?title=Category:Console_Functions If you want to experiment with them then make a named save first, enter Save FileName into the console, if the file name contains a space it needs to be put into quotes Save "File Name". When you're done exit the game completely to make sure that nothing you've done is lurking in memory.

JimboUK Posted May 10 Posted May 10 It's a save with a name of your choosing, it makes it much easier to see the one you need to reload. I usually do it before installing a mod so I know which save to load should I remove that mod.
MatSpikeYinsen Posted May 17 Author Posted May 17 The program does not display any saves other than those that are made through the program. If I manually change so much as the file number, it no longer appears in the list of files under "Load Game".
