I'm back from work and will test it right meow. Updates to come. So, after WAYY too many hours testing the above fix, it seems to be THA THANG!!! zero issues after fixing that, and ensuring the plugins.txt files doesn't get hosed after vortex installs a new mod. thanks be to the ones who found this out and shared it!
