parogen Posted April 27 Share Posted April 27 How hard would it be to improve the AI? Has anyone tried it before? Right now, AI runs overwatches and does random double moves, which are horrible. Technically, these improvements won't change my own playstyle too much, but I think especially for EW, there is room to improve EXALT AI if we're just talking about making it reasonably better. I've seen people play long war but it still doesn't look all that much improved. Imagine instead of mindlessly running to the encoder, EXALT actually played the map normally, and they were allowed to hunker down inside the hacking area or something like that. It would be neat when AI panics that they actually have a chance to hunker down too. It's not entirely overpowered for them to be able to in that situation, when you've kill majority of a pod. This may be idealistic, but it would also be very cool if the AI understood the terrain at a tactical level. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
