More Uses for Welkynd and Varla stones

Welkynd stones ability to recharge your mana is great but what if you could also use them as soul gems at enchanting stations? I was thinking greater or grand souls. Maybe you could take them to an Ayleid mana well and use it to get a permanent buff instead of the temporary one. Like you take 10 Stones to an Aylied well and use them and get a permanent +20 to your magic, or maybe your intelligence or wisdom, something like that. Or maybe it just effects your magic regen rate directly if you could swing it.

Then with Varla Stones, instead of just recharging your enchantments. What if when you used them you selected one enchanted item and it not only recharged it, but increased the effectiveness of the item. Like gave it more uses and increased the damage for weapons and increased the properties of enchantments on clothes and jewelry.  Additionally, you could take Varla stones to enchanting stations and use them to add a second enchantment onto an item. Or again take it to a Mana well and use it to gain a permanent buff, maybe like, sacrifice 10 varla stones at a mana well and gain the greater power +100 intelligence +100 willpower  +100 mana for 120 seconds 1/days. That might be overpowered but something along those lines.

Also, you should be able to sell both to the Ayleid collectors in the game for like double or triple what you can sell them from at normal shopkeepers.

Lastly, the Great Welkynd stone you get in the main quest, I'm not sure what happens to it after you enter paradise, but wheat if you got to keep it when you return? And you could maybe just get a permanent buff to your mana just by keeping it in your inventory.  Like +50 mana just for holding it. Make it heavy, like 30 pounds or something. Or how about this? Take it to the staff enchanter at the arcane university and he could make you a custom staff with it,  something like Apotheosis with like 3 enchantments on it.

They just seem really underutilized for what they are supposed to be.
