Assassin252 Posted April 29 Share Posted April 29 (edited) Deluxe edition on steam I had modded the game when it first came out. Added some mods, did some mod updates. Everything was fine, until a few days ago when it would just randomly crash when I tried to launch the game. I looked up steam forums and nexus forums. Verified integrity of game files, which would say one was missing but would fix it.I noticed that people were talking about uncheck marking two of the files, AltarGymNavigation.esp and TamrielLevelRegion.esp. . I did as such. I uninstalled the game, uninstalled the mods. When I reinstalled the game, I noticed that in the vortex mod order, I couldn’t uncheck or recheck those boxes for those two specific items mentioned above. Then said those two items “not managed by vortex.” I Edited the plugin txt. Deleted it and copied one from a forum where dozens of people said it worked. Messed with my mod order on Vortex. Reset the mod order (the: reset plugins file option on vortex as well as manually). Which FINALLY made it to where I could play the game. However, I noticed now, my mods are not working. According to vortex, everything is working fine. Several people are running into the same thing on other forums. I do what they recommend but it either makes no change to my mods not working or it makes it to where my game crashes at launch. I went through all my mods to make sure none were overwriting eachother or had known interferences with other mods. I removed all the mods that were ports from the OG game as I heard there’s difficulties with those and vortex. I even trying uninstalling vortex and manually installing mods, nothing is working. While I’m not the most computer inclined person, I have been putting mods on games for several years so it isn’t my first rodeo. I have tried everything I’ve seen on the matter and I’ve spent probably 8-12 hours in the past 3-4 days messing with this. Attached is my mod order, data files, plugins, mods, and etc. Any suggests, advice, or help is greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read this.
