Oblivion remaster launch issue

So I was able to get vortex running on my steam deck and got it working with oblivion remaster. It was working surprisingly smooth at first. When in desktop mode I can install mods just fine and then I'd launch the game from vortex as usual but today it's not working correctly. Not exactly sure what happened or what the issue is but now when I try to launch the game through vortex I'm getting an error message failed to launch. After the error if I open the steam window a message is already open from steam that I don't fully remember word for word but essentially it's telling me something else is  trying to launch the title and did I make this request or not. If I do click yes then the game does launch with the mods so it's not all that bad but I find it weird that I'm having to now go to the steam window and confirm the launch instead of just launching through vortex. This may be a user error, I have had horrible luck with vortex on the steam deck with any game up until 2 days ago with oblivion remaster and KCD2 and honestly I'm just shocked i got vortex running on it at all in some shape or form.

I believe the devs updated the ObvRem extension to require launching the game through the Steam launcher.

You can get around this by adding a tool in the dashboard tab to launch the executable in the game root folder directly, then set it as Primary so Vortex will always use it to launch the game.

Ah well I have this problem too with the epic crash, I added the executable in the dashboard and launched it there but it doesn't work.

Verify your game files. The crash is due to invalid contents of the Plugins.txt file.

Strange issue! At least mods still work, maybe just a minor glitch!

Sounds frustrating! Try verifying game files and updating any installed mod managers. Compatibility issues with remasters are common. Also check forums for patch notes.
