Vortex - Cannot install mods: Error - cb is not a function

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm unable to install any mods in my Skyrim Special Edition profiles.
I get this error. I'm able to download, but during install, I get the red label saying Install failed and then this message.

I logged out of my nexusmods profile and logged back in.
I changed profiles. Same error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Which Vortex version are you on? If you're on latest stable 1.13.7, try using the beta version and see if that helps.

Please always include which Vortex version and game extension version you are on when posting in this forum.

I just updated to 1.13.7 and still the same issue.

I can't seem to add mods. I'm not sure how to find the game extension version.

This is the only game managed.

Hello! This is the first time I am visiting your forum. Rent to another branch if my question does not apply to you. Sorry, thanks.
In the picture itself, the Vortex 1.13.7 program itself and in this position it hangs for 7 hours already. I can’t download anything from the Nexusmods website, not using Vortex, not using Opera, Chrome, Yandex, Edge browsers, Chrome, Yandge
Duckduckgo, UCBROWSER. I just press the "Slow Download" button and after 5 seconds of waiting, the inscription is emerging that the site is not available. I use to work with modorganizer 2 mods, in his settings I turned off the binding to the site and links because it does not load anything,
Only files that weigh 0 and the message that the connection is reset. Windows 10. Experts, what to do, advise, otherwise I bought a new computer, but I didn’t buy my brains. Previously, everything worked, now I can only look and lick the pictures. Resentment.

The Skyrim extensions are bundled with Vortex. You can see them by clicking the "eye" button on the toolbar.

Looks like one of those 3 extensions you disabled has a rogue installer test function that is running bad code while Vortex is managing other games. All Vortex extensions have mod installer functions that must at a minimum confirm that Vortex is currently managing the correct game. This is the "Object.testSupported" shown in the error message.

It would be helpful if you could enable those disabled plugins one-by-one and see which one starts giving you the error. The BG3 and NMS extensions were updated recently. It should be either BG3 or NMS that is the source of the issue since the Sanity Checks extension doesn't have mod installers.

Thank you.
I don't even play those games. I wonder why Vortex installed those extensions.
