svenskarav Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I was looking thru my old xbox clips from yester years and i saw younger me in a shed on the beach in PA with Mirelurks outside and shooting at them as one proceeded to open the door and younger me got spooked so much so i paused the game. Is there a list somewhere of what creatures can open doors lol?
363rdChemicalCompany Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I have also observed mirelurks opening doors once. But its certainly rare. Dogs (at least dogmeat) can also do it and there is a patch to prevent it, not sure if the patch will just apply to dogs or to all non humans 1
Glitchfinder Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Most NPCs can open doors, but there's a checkbox on the race record to prevent it, iirc. Eyebots, for example, are explicitly blocked from using doors.

You don't think its weird that most creatures can? i get smaller creatures for the most part but a deathclaw or any other big animal or robot there is like two doors they can open 1. Being the large gates you can build and the other one is doors that open to a different cell then again it makes sense from a Game development stand point but from the standpoint of a child that hasn't gotten to a mature level to understand Basic concepts it made no sense and i still think it does then again the concord deathclaw can just simply clip into buildings so *Shrug.
