Emperitor Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Add some things as random loot drops in ruins like.. 1) Broken / Used Welkynd and Varla Stones that could be sold for like 50 - 100g each or maybe act as like lesser or common soul gems at enchanting stations. Or even alchemical ingredients, something that restores and fortifies magic. 2) Unleveled Elvish armor 3) staffs / enchanted elvish weapons 4) enchanted "Alyeid" robes, maybe using like the red robes set or something that doesn't get worn by many NPC's with some cool enchantments on them like fortify magic, reflect dmg, spell absorption etc. 5) Black Soul gems. I feel like they would have used them. 6) special potions, like "Alyeid Health / Mana potion" restore like 150 magica, fortify Int and Wis by 50 for 120 seconds, shield 20 for 120 seconds. Something crazy like that instead of the standard leveled potions you find everywhere. 7) Alyeid jewelry. Rings and amulets enchanted with levelled enchantments but better than usual. reflect spell, spell absorptions, fortify magic, reflect damage, resist normal dmg resist magic all those cool enchantments even if its just like 3 or 5 percent at the low end. It would still be worth finding to wear or sell as a level 5 explorer. 8- summon Golden Saints and Dark Seducer scrolls. just something that's not common and would be super cool to have. 9) this made me think about something else. Use the Golden Saint as the base model for a new enemy type. Like a ghostly version of golden saints as Alyeid tomb guardians instead of your standard zombies and skeletons. 10) Alyeid coins instead of gold septims in Alyeid ruins. Make it glow blue like a Welkynd stone and worth like 5g per coin at a vendor, but it just doesn't make sense to keep finding imperial septims in Alyeid ruins. 11) Alyeid silverwear, plates, forks, spoons, all that common stuff would be worth real money to collectors and stuff. Make it all worth double the standard silver counterparts. Again, worthless to high level characters but at low level this would make hitting a single ruin a real haul that could net you a few thousand gold pieces of loot. 12) add unleveled bosses to Alyeid ruins, like the final boss of each ruin is a full lich regardless of level. Make it super hard. That one may be optional I guess not everyone would be into it but personally I like my ruins on hard mode. 13) Other Alyeid statues than the ones you find for Umbacano. In the ruins that arent part of his quest, add slightly different looking Statues also worth 500 gold as random loot drops. 14) lootable tombs. All those marble slabs everywhere in these places should be lootable add all this crap I just mentioned in them. Maybe make them trapped somehow. Like you get poisened or take magic damage or when you open them you spawn a golden saint ghost that attacks you. 15) Ancient Tomes filled with custom "Alyeid" spells. Make them super valuable, like 500 gold each. Make them lesser powers even, so you could cast higher level spells like reflect dmg spells or something for reduced mana costs. 16) replace all zombies and skeletons with ghosts at a minimum. It would make it more dangerous for one, and more thematic as well. I don't know why all Alyeid ruins are crawling with zombies but if they came back as angry spirits it makes a little more sense. 17) add healing and mana fonts in the ruins like from Oblivion Gates, just make them look like the Alyied mana wells. This gives something to interact with and changes up the interiors a bit. 18) add crowns in some of the final loot boxes. Like we know there are 2 you get through Umbacano's quest but I feel like there should be a few more, maybe with lesser versions of those enchantments. Pick like 3 cities and make a named crown for each one, put them in the last chamber, lock them behind a lich boss.  You know, just a couple ideas...
