Porting models to Oblivion Remastered from an Unreal Engine game

I know next to nothing about porting models (about the same as any mod user) but I am trying to gauge the actual amount of work required for porting an armor set from another unreal game to Remastered, in order to decide if I'm diving into the subject or not. Has anyone tried it ? I saw some Witcher stuff floating around but I can't remember what type of engine it uses.

CDPR has its own proprietary engine called RED Engine. From my limited knowledge, porting models is less about the engine and more about the model files themselves. If you own a copy of a game and extract the models and textures, you could probably use them in another game. However, this is an oversimplification of the process and there is more work that goes into importing those textures so that they look right and work, let's say. This will also most likely break most games EULA, and so while you may be able to use them for your own purposes, distributing them could be an issue.  If anyone knows better please feel free to correct me.
