JasonThePeasant Posted May 11 Posted May 11 (edited) There's quite a few difficulty overhaul balance mods already, but they all seem to gravitate away from goofiness that is Oblivion Bandits having full plates of Daedra armor; and the Kvatch being full of 20 Daedroth and armed Xivilai. Would people be interested in a mod that embraces that iconic aspect of Oblivion? I was thinking, remove the leveled NPC system, IE they always spawn at their max level with their max gear remove the level requirement for Daedric Statue quests and leveled quest items that way you stand a chance by being able to rush the Statues and easy quests for high leveled items then finally, adjust the difficulty options... but make it much harder instead of easier. Novice: Vanilla Adept difficulty Apprentice: Vanilla Expert difficulty Adept: Vanilla Master difficulty Expert: Modded difficulty harder than Vanilla Master Master: Modded difficulty MUCH harder than Vanilla Master The goal is to make it super challenging, but potentially completable if you use all tools and glitches at your disposal. it's kind of a lot of work for a solo dev... so I probably wont make it unless there's genuine interest in it Edited May 11 by JasonThePeasant
