PaladinDanser
Just a few ideas I've had rolling around in my head. I am aware Staff Casting exists but I don't like it. Staves: Staves use Magicka after the enchantment charge is depleted An unseen perk does the following while checking if you have a spell in the other hand: 5% spell cost reduction, 5% spell potency (the stave spell type will also add an additional +5 to cost reduction and potency to that particular school of magic. (Alternation, Conjuration, Destruction, Illusion, Restoration), +25% Magicka Regen when using a staff in one hand and a spell on the other. Staff of Magnus adds an additional +5% to all potency & cost reduction. Scrolls: Should act as lesser powers rather than spells to take up one of your hands. Spells: Equilibrium: Change so while casting, it increases the potency and spell cost of the spell on the other hand instead of being used to replenish Magicka. To act like Blood Magic. General Enchantments: Weapon Enchantments now use player's magicka rather than enchantment charges each hit. Or maybe the enchantment charges are instead used in place of magicka until it is depleted in which case it starts eating your magicka. Could be a spell you can use to use Magicka to replenish the enchantment charge if it's too hard to script staves using magicka.
