Demorphic Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Many of you have been asking about the return of different content display options on the site, something we always planned to bring back. Work has been going on behind the scenes, exploring alternate options for how mods display on the site. Today, we’re ready to launch these updated tile options to you all. You will now have a choice between standard view, the returning list view and the new compact view for those of you who want more mods at once with less scrolling. The new tile options will appear on the following pages: * Game homepages * Mods listing and full search pages * User profiles - Mods tab * The logged-in homepage We hope they offer you more flexibility and customisation. See what you think! You can set your preferred option here: https://next.nexusmods.com/settings/preferences 1
jaeenox Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Thank you for bringing back list view! The site is almost back. Three things: 1) Please let us set default date range to "all time" when looking at "most endorsed" mods on a game page. 2) Please continue with the customize option so that we can turn off collections from being forced to be viewed under trending mods on game pages. I have no interest in playing someone else's game. I would prefer to be able to turn off collections and media completely or force them to the bottom of the page at a minimum. 3) please let us customize the white text on black background Things are moving toward me re-subscribing. If customize functions as I hope, I will soon. 1
IKobi Posted June 27 Posted June 27 (edited) Unfortunately, the current list view remains insufficiently compact compared to what was available in the previous version of the site. In its current form, it feels like a step backward rather than an improvement, larger tiles do not necessarily equate to a better user experience. Ideally, I’d like to see a more space-efficient list view that allows more mods to appear at once, minimizing unnecessary white space. As with my initial feedback, the link provided clearly shows a significant amount of unused space on the right side of the screen as well (feels unnatural). I appreciate the recent update and recognize it as a positive step forward. I hope this message doesn't come across as ungrateful or overly critical, but I do believe there are still areas that could benefit from further refinement and improvement. Edited June 27 by IKobi
