Mod Configuration Menu - Plugin renamed even though my plugin hasn't been renamed (FNV)

So I've reinstalled my entire Fallout New Vegas mod list after fixing a bug (I tried to reinstall MCM after I had deleted and reinstalled my entire modlist due to a game-breaking bug (CTD on startup due to a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error that I could not pin down), and now reinstalling MCM, I'm getting an error: https://imgur.com/a/mcm-plugin-bug-gOpO7R2

"The Mod Configuration Menu plugin has been renamed. This mod and those using it cannot function properly".

I've gone into my files, and the plugin hasn't been renamed; it's still using the same The Mod Configuration Menu.esp, so I don't know what's causing this. 

Has anyone solved the problem? And if so, how did you fix it? 

I desperately need a fix to finally use FOV Slider and adjust JAM (Just Assorted Mods). I am so frustrated, my load order checks out and I even have the MCM Bug Fix 2, but it still does not work on the account that my plugin has been "renamed" even though that's bull. 

SOLVED: Yeah so I'm not sure how I fixed it, but like I uninstalled and reinstalled a bunch of MCM-related mods, and now it works.

And I haven't even touched the plugin for that too, even though its claiming that there's been a merge to the plugin.
