leotheEliteMajor117 Posted May 24 Posted May 24 I have been scratching my head for a long time with this however I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I am trying to switch where the Extended Mag Tube and the Shell types should be. I want the tube to be in its own slot and the shell types in its own slot as well. Such that, Magazine > Standard > Extended Magazine Tube. Same goes for the shell types. Shell Type > Buckshot > Flechette > etc... I created 2 keywords for the mod slots and even made sure the object mods have their attach points pointing towards my own keyword but they don't appear in the weapon on the workbench. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I figure this was just a simple job in xEdit but it was more confusing than I thought
fraquar Posted May 24 Posted May 24 (edited) If you don't see it in the list make sure you gave that Attach Point a "Full Name". If that field is blank it won't show in the workbench, even if you did everything else correct. Ex. Open your Shell Type keyword and make sure you have a Full Name entry - exactly what you want it to show in the left pane of the workbench. Edited May 24 by fraquar
fraquar Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Also, sometimes it is easier to find a mod that already does what you want. Load it up along with your "project" so you can see how they did things. There are plenty of mods on the Nexus which have their own "Shell Type" or "Ammo" attach points to use as a guide.

Thanks for the tips. I managed to make it appear by just attaching my ap keyword to the attach parent slot to the base weapon, so now it appears!
