So is there any good modern way to limit the fps as i can't seem to find any good solutions that does not make fo4 explode also does anyone know how to make ocbpc work for vortex i have all the requirements but i can't seem to get it to work for FG or Cbbe fyi i'm not using both so any help with either would be great thanks.

Wasn't it so that the iPresentInterval=1 setting in Fallout4 and Fallout4Prefs.ini limits the framerate to 60 fps? Or did Bethesda change this next-gen? As I use a different physics mod I can't say much to OCBPC except that it is F4SE dependent and let's you make a lot of settings in it's ini-files. I believe that you can get support on LL.

yes and no as i put it makes my fo4 crash before even getting to the menu doing it that way and on the other thing i was hoping not to go to LL as the way they format their forums is very weird.

their search bar for the forums kinda doesn’t really help it so i was hoping to avoid that plus their site makes you wait a couple of seconds to search for something again (or it does it just by swapping to the next page) so it gets really annoying but i might have to do that : / not to dis them but thats how i feel

(I’m pretty sure most if not all references to ocbpc involves mo2 which breaks for me long story that one plus vortex has always been very simple and reliable to use for me at least)

The setting seems to have to be done in both ini-files with the same value and is the Fallout 4 default. So in case your game crashes with these settings you have one or more mods installed that need the higher fps. Capping the framerate via ENB micht crash these mods again. Regarding LL you are right, but if you go through the adult mod download section for FO4 you find OCBP on page 3 and OCBPC on page 6 atm (I am still not sure whether it's ok to post direct LL links here). And there is a general technical section.

I’ll have to take look and I’m pretty sure links for it is a no go but I wouldn’t know tbh so you could politely ask a mod if thats the case

For High FPS (over 60) - you use High FPS Physics Fix.    In this case you have hardware capable of running the game higher than 60 FPS - but the limit is the game itself (capped at 60).

For Low FPS (below 60) - all you should need is your Video Driver.

For jiggly mods?   Can't help there.  😄

so just a update if people have this same issue it is in fact or seems to be ocbpc not working for ng but don't take that as fact but speculation thats what it seems to be for me so if you want physics use ocbp and read the description as they have files for both ng and pre ng also forgot to mention i was on NG like a silly goober that i am and the last time ocbpc was updated was 3 years prior of the nextgen update so that could be something as well but as i said this is speculation but now i can FINALLY SLEEP this legit kept me up for 2 nights before i even made this forum post i think it worsened my depression i ended up looking at banned nexus users for 5 hours......So um thanks for the help stay cool.
