Harted Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Is there a way to somehow exclude words in the title/description when searching, or to search by exact match of the word (and not to give all results, where all letters are contained, even if inside another word)? For example, when I search by the word 'Male', in the results I get everything with the words 'Female'. I tried to put the word in quotes, but it does not help. In the old version of the site there was no such problem. 3
ViatorKitty Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Came here from searching the internet for a solution to the exact same "fe/male" problem. I've looked through all of the search options and haven't found anything for either excluding words or only including exact word matches. It's really frustrating, especially when there are so many more mods for female characters than male ones in most games. It would be extremely helpful to have some more search options. 1
Antrix Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Right now, the website is really missing a way to filter out mods based on specific keywords or phrases - essentially a personal mod title blacklist. As I mentioned previously on Discord, let’s take a concrete example: the Starfield page, which is completely flooded with Star Wars mods. Many players don’t take those seriously for a variety of reasons (we won’t dive into that here, but the point stands). Now imagine that in some future version of the website, we get a feature like this. I add “Star Wars” to my blacklist, and suddenly all mods with “Star Wars” in their titles simply stop appearing for me - either site-wide or per specific game pages. This would greatly improve browsing for users who want to focus on lore-friendly or game-consistent content, and it would be a simple but powerful customization option. 2
Nightlistic Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Can you please give us an option to type in what we want to exclude in the search parameters. There is nothing more infuriating when looking for a mod, and only to find out its a conversion that in addition to the conversion, requires the original mod, and its requirements. What should be a one file mod can end up being dozens of additional mods for one conversion, and we really need a option to be able to exclude the word "Conversion" from our search parameters so that people who don't want to have to filter through page after page of conversion to find one original idea can. It wouldn't be an issue but most of these modders don't update, or keep up with the mod, and require stuff that in many cases aren't even available for download anymore. It's just counter productive. Specially when in many cases there is a limit to how many mods you can add to a game. Having the ability to filter out conversion mods would make searching for original mods easier. 3
Wyllowynd Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago +1. I just really need a way to limit the types of body for armor etc.
