KarpovS Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) Hi all! I recently started making my first mod in Fallout 4. I made myself a house with a basement. The basement is in the open world and can be accessed without loading, essentially it’s just a hole in the ground that I built up. The problem is that there are no light sources in the basement, I want it to be dark and go down there with a flashlight, but it’s light there. And the lighting in it changes depending on the time of day. How can I darken this area? I partially found how to fix this problem) I found an ambient lighting source, but it is in the shape of a sphere and it has very sharp corners, there is no smooth transition from black to light, but this can be corrected with another lighter light source, but it looks like a crutch) https://ibb.co/qFDJ3jP7 Edited May 29 by KarpovS
hereami Posted June 10 Posted June 10 (edited) There is a thing called RFCT iirc, effect attached to camera, fog and such. Maybe it can be made to dim lighting? Or apply a regular imad maybe, while inside area made of trigger boxes. Also there are Black planes, think seen them for blocking rays. Or a forced weather while in triggers area still, you need boxes either way to control ambient sound. Curious now, but i'm not a world builder. Edited June 10 by hereami
