Yes, well, the downside of that is that people who come here often get put off by the boring artwork you now have on instead of the nice pictures we had before. This whole update is already such a downgrade for the existing users, the whole personality of the site is entirely wiped out. At some point those straws will start breaking backs, you know.

What is it you prefer about the old images?

I think the Old images better capture the theme of the game. A cheerful cartoon character holding up a thumbs up, is if you know the game very recognizable, but the feel from playing the game is definitely not captured by it. 

While an Overengineered Steel Helmet for an insanely tough armor, captures the feel of Fallout 4 much better. 

Same deal for Skyrim SE. The Icon is way too perfect. There is a very good reason why the Imperial Logo you see when you buy a copy of Skyrim or Launch the game is chipped and broken. And an armored guy standing in the snow ready to shout also captured the feel of Skyrim, then the Anniversary edition Logo. 

 

That is also the reason why I have no issue with the new Icon for OG Skyrim or Fallout NV, they still capture the feel of the game very well.
