tldr: Reinstalled a backed-up Skyrim modlist, including all the files and folders that Vortex needs to run it. I am able to play the game flawlessly, however when I deploy it deletes SKSE and basically all of the files in G:/Vortex Mods and breaks everything.

I attempted to start over my Skyrim modlist on MO2, and thought it would be wise to back up my current modlist on an external hard drive. In preparation, I have backed up everything related to Vortex and Skyrim, including the files in Appdata/Local, Appdata/Roaming/Vortex, G:/Vortex Mods, Documents/My Games, and G:/SteamLibrary/Steamapps/Common.

If I copy over all of those folders back to where they need to go, I am able to open Vortex, and see that everything is back to normal. I am able to see all my enabled/disabled mods, my load order, everything. I can even run FNIS or Nemesis, or even SKSE and play the game.

If I deploy however, Vortex tells me that all of my files are changed, and even if I say to keep them, Vortex deletes basically everything. After that, it will become stuck on "Checking for external changes" and never actually finish deploying. Therefore, I am completely unable to edit my modlist at all. I can no longer download new mods or change old mods.

Is there a way to fix this?
