Was there a mod that removed the green hat rag? And a mod that upgraded the Vanilla shacks to be insulated?

There is mod (e.g. on LL) called "Reginald's PreFab SchackFest! 1.0.5", but I doubt that the mod author cared much about insulation.

Thank you.

Actually I do have  from LL,  and it suffers form the same immersion breaks that Vanilla assests do.

Settlers usually draw hats from LL_Clothes_Wastelander_Hat [LVLI:001C269B], which contains only four hats, including the green rag hat. Occasionally, settlers draw hats from LL_Clothes_Scavenger_Hat_50 [LVLI:001C269E], which contains twelve hats, including the green rag hat. If you copy both records into a new .esp and then delete the rag hat from your new .esp, it will no longer spawn for NPCs who draw hats from those records.

Regarding the green rag hat, I've replaced it with a newsboy hat in the Scavenger Outfit Replacer mod.  You can forward just the hat part of the mod into a new mod with XEdit if you don't want the whole thing.  But yeah, I despise that hat.

Oddly enough, it is the hat that goes along with the Surveyor Outfit, although it doesn't match the color scheme. I suspect it would be a lot more palatable if it better matched the outfit's colors.

Also, John Marston's Hat at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community has a replacer option for the green hat, too.

Oh, and I use the DX Adventurer Outfit, too. Such a cool outfit, although I limit its availability to survivalist/scavenger types.

thats a nice hat, thank you for pointing me to that mod. 🙂

though its more of a mens hat.

I noticed the green hat rag tends to show up on my female settlers ruining their good looks  (until I make them take it off) which is my primary problem with it.

My male settlers invariably wear "Militia hat" or "Minutemen Hat"

Female settlers are of the dirt, making a living.  🙂

No mascara, no stylist, no manicures, no boob jobs, no clean tight fitting tailored clothing, no extended eyelashes -  they just have "natural" beauty.

Is there something wrong with natural beauty?   🙂

Added:  I've seen women in my lifetime that would still be a 10 wearing a potato sack.  😄

210 years after the war? I have some doubts about that. Of course nothing is wrong with natural beauty.

Regarding the hat I have sometimes experienced that settlers will return to their vanilla clothings when I leave them in their inventory. Removing the clothings from there and scrapping them solved this for me.

Have you seen photographs of women from the lower social classes in the 19th and early 20th centuries? Europe, the US, Russia, the Ottoman Empire...

I have seen THOUSANDS of them. I assure you—they looked, yes, different from today, but fundamentally better than you think. Ordinary peasant women dressed better for the fair than many modern women dress for a party.

Look at how workers dress after work.

There can be no eternal post-apocalypse. It contradicts human nature.

Archaeology provides a wealth of evidence that Maslow's hierarchy of needs does not have absolute priority. The burial of two teenagers (Kostenki) more than 40,000 years ago: their clothes are covered with rhinestone decorations.

2)Что касается лачуг.

В них никто не сможет пережить северо-восточную зиму, и они серьезно мешают мне погрузиться в мир.

There is no mod that comprehensively solves this problem.

The construction “aesthetics” and designs of Fallout 4 are based entirely on the ideas of Fallout 1 and 2. Hence all this.

I don't understand who came up with these “green hats” — they're complete rubbish.

There are no women's hats in Fo4. That's a fact. The only headwear that suits them is a beret, gray knit hat and a newsboy cap.

I would agree with this.

In my settlements I generally dress the female vendors well using mod supplied clothes assets.
