Folder managed by Vortex

Hello I'm new to modding, so it may be a stupid question.

I was downloading a mod that permit me to create a preset but when I search the folder where it is supposed to be, the folder didn't isn't here and the folder just before there's a file named " folder managed by vortex" 

So where do I go to find the folder I wanted and the file ?

You may need to create the folders yourself.  They would only exist if you have previously installed a preset.

What game are you talking about? In any event you can double click on the mod in the modlist to open the details panel and see exactly what folder it was installed into.

If the folder is not where you expect it, the mod may not have been installed correctly by Vortex, or there is another issue.

Any folder managed by Vortex will have this file.  If you don't see anything else in it your mod is not deployed yet (assuming said folder needs to contain files from your mod).  Click on Enable button.  If you've clicked on it already you may have triggered a rare issue when Vortex can't deploy a mod properly.  Remove the mod and Enable it again.
