OscarRetro Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Hey guys I've been pulling my hair out with the game engine for weeks, I made an animated hourglass to keep time for a minigame I've coded into the game, everything about it has turned out amazingly, the hourglass is equippable as a weapon I've made it fit so well on the hand and when sheathed I'm committed to making it work now lol, the issue I have is I added a controller manager block successfully to play my animation on demand as it's world model under Idle/forward groups, however when I equip it with it's controls added it won't play, it only plays when equipped when there's no control block and only ever loops from first load in with no ability to resync it in first person I can do it if I reset 3D on the player in 3rd person but that doesn't affect first person. I've been reading and possibly need to do something with first person camera to get it triggerable in that mode? could anybody help me solve this please I've tried SO many other ways even tried unloading items from the game and swapping mesh paths during gameplay but all looped animations (the one that plays equipped) just stay synced to eachother nomatter what. I just need to know how to activate animation triggers during first person lol thank you.
