Sorry if I bother you but what about the reported issue? What I showed here is the only way to stop the endorsement reminders on mods that block all interactions including endorsements, is this an unintended exploit?

It shouldn't, so it would be a bug/exploit. Some parts of the new site show the "Success" toast message even if something actually failed in the back end

Until it stopped the reminders, it followed me like a sin and was very annoying. For the longest time I thought "just let me endorse your mod and leave me alone".

Some parts of the new site show the "Success" toast message even if something actually failed in the back end To be clear, all I'm claiming is that it stopped endorsement reminders about mods I couldn't endorse. I remember posting a tip somewhere on the old feedback board. I "exploited" it around October 2024, because that was a feature added around that time. https://www.nexusmods.com/news/15120
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted June 30 Community Manager Posted June 30 I've confirmed the bug with our web team, and they'll look into a fix. I know the Endorsement Reminder is annoying when you've been blocked, but that is something that we can fix separately. 1
cyan49 Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I'm glad this bug has finally been brought to your attention, even though it happened to be resolved for me already. I only had the annoying 3 endorser reminders for a year and a few months, but I'm sure it was much more annoying for other people. (Although it was related, I'm sorry for hijacking the intent of OP's post/title lol)

I'm sorry, but did you actually read the question at hand? Are you saying that the inability to remove endorsement of a mod after someone blocks you is intentional and is by-design? It makes absolutely no sense. Why on earth would i want to keep my endorsement of a mod when the mod author blocked me from interacting with the page? Given the importance of the concept of endorsement, that is absolutely ridiculous. At least implement some kind of auto-endorsement removal for people that are blocked. It only makes sense. Endorsing is not a technical detail. It is a user "vote of confidence", a user "seal of recommendation". By blocking me for removing the endorsement, you are acting against my will as a user of the site and modder. You response to this can't just be "ups... though luck". Meanwhile, you must have an alternative solution to the problem. I don't want to have that endorsement. Period. 1

I do understand your point and I have raised similar concerns internally before. You can add it to the suggestion board though and see if it gets enough traction.

Ok, so what is your suggestion, other than to create a thread on the suggestions board? There must be a procedure for dealing with customers here on the nexus. Some kind of servicedesk for dealing with this type of situations. Redirecting people to the suggestion board and say "go there and who knows? Maybe you get lucky" is not the most professional way of dealing with the user's problems on your platform. This is basically the same as giving an ipad to your kid when you don't want to deal with him.
